LEICESTER, N.Y., Nov. 10, 1998 -- Trebla Chemical Co., CPAC, Inc.'s
photographic chemical subsidiary located in St. Louis, MO, has received ISO 9002
certification.
Pedro P. Bonilla, President of Trebla Chemical Co. and CPAC Imaging Group, stated,
"We are pleased to report to our existing customer base that our quality program has
been ISO certified. We would expect this recognition to increase export
opportunities from our color imaging plant in St. Louis."
ISO is the acronym for International Standardization Organization. It assures that a
quality system is in place and followed for product development. The requirements
specified for ISO 9002 are aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by requiring
conformity at all stages of production. ISO now represents the national standards
organizations for ninety countries.
