LEICESTER, New York, July 23, 1998 CPAC, Inc.
(Nasdaq NNM: CPAK) today announced that due to personal reasons, Mr. Robert C. Isaacs has
resigned as Senior Vice President and Chief Acquisitions Officer. Mr. Isaacs, who joined
the Company in 1986 and returned to a full-time operational position in April 1998 after a
seven-month personal leave, will remain a member of the Companys Board of Directors.
Thomas N. Hendrickson, Chief Executive Officer, CPAC, Inc.
said, "We will miss working with Mr. Isaacs on a daily basis, but look forward to
continuing to benefit from his counsel as he remains a member of our Board. In addition,
he will be involved in special projects on the Companys behalf as his personal
situation allows."
Mr. Hendrickson, with the assistance of CPAC senior
management, has assumed Mr. Isaacs responsibilities on a temporary basis during the
search for a replacement. Mr. Hendrickson added, "Acquisitions are the key to our
strategic growth plan, and in the last month we have hired Mr. Glenn Jackling who will
focus on acquisitions and related corporate financial projects."
