Leicester, NY… CPAC, Inc. announced today that
Allied Diagnostic Imaging Resources, Inc., its medical x-ray chemistry
subsidiary, has signed a strategic agreement with Radiology Partners, Inc. (RPI),
a large group purchasing organization (GPO) based in Tampa, Florida. Effective
July 1, 2001, the three-year contract provides RPI’s members with discounts on
Allied's premium Autex® brand medical imaging chemicals,
as well as x-ray illuminators, silver recovery equipment and silver refining
services.
RPI has over 1,500 clinic and physician
practices as members, representing over 10,000 physicians in 36 states. Started
in 1994, RPI was the first national GPO designed specifically to meet the need
of radiology facilities, RPI provides radiology practices and departments with
discounted products and services. Recently, RPI has extended its membership to
include hospitals, ultrasound clinics, and other medical specialty clinics.
The Allied chemical products available to
members under this new contract have been specifically chosen by RPI for their
ability to enhance and optimize the image of the Kodak film emulsion. A complete
range of other Allied chemical products are also available under this agreement.
