G. Robert Gey Named President of The Fuller Brush Company
LEICESTER, NY, April 12, 2002 - CPAC, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPAK) today announced the appointment of Mr. G. Robert Gey as President of its Fuller Brush subsidiary, located in Great Bend, Kansas.
Mr. Gey was formerly employed by Pentair Inc., a $3 billion NYSE company with core businesses in tools, water technologies and enclosures. During his eighteen years with Pentair, Mr. Gey held various corporate and senior operating positions within the company. His most recent title was President of a $140 million service equipment subsidiary that manufactures and sources products for the consumer, commercial and professional markets. These products include battery chargers, welders, portable power, and auto related service equipment that are sold to mass merchants, home centers, hardware stores and automotive supply stores.
In his career at Pentair, Mr. Gey was actively involved in corporate growth and development as the top M & A executive, responsible for acquiring and integrating companies into Pentair's three business platforms. He also served as President of Pentair's Service Equipment Business, a $250 million subsidiary with seven domestic and international locations, including Asia and Mexico. In this capacity, he acquired and integrated two synergistic product lines and one new business, adding $680 million in sales to Pentair.
In commenting on Mr. Gey's appointment, Read D. Mr. Gey holds an MBA from Loyola College, and a BS in Business Administration from Athens College. He currently serves as a Director of Hawkins, Inc. and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
